I have always had a love for gems and minerals. To me, there was always something magical about the unique colors and shapes of natural stones. Traveling with my parents around America as a child, we always took the road less traveled. And along those roads we were never far from some mining area bringing treasures out from underground. My parents, being mineral collectors, instilled a deep love and interest into the history and rarity of precious stones - and the difficulty to obtain them. This upbringing lead me to explorethe world in search of gems.

Beginning in 2003 I completed my GIA graduate gemologist course in Bangkok, and threw myself into the world of gems.  Since then, I have traveled the world in search of unique stones. My travels have taken me to the jungles of West Africa and southeast Asia,  to dusty mining towns in Australia and Tanzania.  I invite you to join me on my journey.
